How Knative Uses GitOps, ArgoCD, and Prow to Build and Release Knative - Mahamed Ali, Rackspace Technology

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Knative is a CNCF incubating project for running serverless workloads on Kubernetes. The project runs a large infrastructure on the public cloud to test and release Knative. We have adopted various best practices around Platform Engineering, GitOps, and Continous Delivery. We would like to present to the community how we use ArgoCD to orchestrate several Kubernetes clusters and use it to provision Prow which builds and automates all the jobs for various steps of the software development lifecycle of Knative. We'll be presenting technical details about our implementation of ArgoCD and mention details about how Knative uses Prow to build and ship the Knative Project.
