Viktor is the product manager of GitLab's Configure stage. He is responsible for GitLab Terraform integrations launched a year ago and the GitLab Kubernetes Agent released recently on gitlab.com too. He started his career as an engineer and was leading engineering teams at various startups. This involved building out the infrastructure too from initial prototypes to serving thousands of users a day. He moved into product management in 2015 after being unsatisfied with how the product organisation was led at a company, and realised that he loves this space, and prefers to focus on learning about the users' problems and design solutions, instead of implementing them. In his spare time he mostly reads and learns philosophy, and thinks a lot about values and humanity.
